Director of Operations

A native of Forest Hills, NY, Brett A. Reichler is a seasoned culinary professional with over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. His diverse and dynamic career has been defined by innovation, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to quality. 

Brett began his culinary journey at London Lennie’s Restaurant, where he streamlined kitchen operations and maximized profitability, laying the foundation for his future leadership roles. As Executive Chef at Blue Water Grill, he honed his skills in menu development, inventory control, marketing, and team leadership—ultimately rising to become Corporate Chef/Partner at B.R. Guest Restaurants. 

He later served as Director of Operations at Gotham Seafood, where he introduced systems and processes that significantly improved efficiency and regulatory compliance. Brett also held the role of Chef Partner at Hospitality Firm, leading successful culinary projects such as Chefs Local Harvest and Urban Space, and launching new food concepts across multiple Manhattan food halls. 

In 2023, Brett returned to Gallaghers Steakhouse as Director of Operations—a role he previously held in 2017. With a wealth of newly gained expertise, he brings refined leadership and culinary vision back to this iconic establishment, continuing Gallaghers' legacy of excellence. 

An alumnus of the Culinary Institute of America, Brett has appeared on platforms including Good Day New York, The Today Show, and Dr. Oz. Outside the kitchen, he is a dedicated marathon runner, having completed the New York City and New Jersey Marathons multiple times.
